College Goal Sunday has a network of dedicated partners, each bringing special expertise and contribution. These businesses, associations, foundations, government agencies, schools and universities have been instrumental in the development and operation of College Goal Sunday state programs. They also encourage their staff, members, grantees, alumni and faculty to contribute by volunteering their time to assist in College Goal Sunday planning and implementation.

As you can see, it’s our partner groups who largely contribute to our program success. We welcome and encourage partnerships with all those who share the mission of College Goal Sunday and a passion for this work. Partners contribute in a variety of ways to the ongoing efforts of the program, including financial, in-kind, volunteer hours and advisory capacities. Sponsorship provides valuable financial support to the program and ensures that volunteers have the resources they need to be effective in programming capacities. College Goal Sunday works to promote our partnering organizations (not possessive) by recognizing their contribution through air and ground public relations campaign promotional materials, drawings, and giveaways.

In addition to national partnerships, College Goal Sunday state programs partner with local businesses, community groups, institutions, organizations and state agencies that are positioned to support their local efforts. A strong coalition is crucial to expand our on-the-ground efforts nationwide as we work and strive to increase the educational attainment of low-income, first-generation students.
